The holiday season is a time to be thankful, and to reflect on the events of the past year. We all acknowledge 2008 has been a time of economic challenges and financial uncertainty. Yet despite hardships, our community has continued to pull together to help those in need. We take our commitment to the community seriously.
Bay Federal employees have worked hard to support over 75 non-profit organizations and schools throughout Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties. From donating clothing for the homeless to building a home for a family through Habitat for Humanity or donating funds for schools in need of supplies, I am honored to lead a financial cooperative that places a high value on community involvement.
Personally, I am filled with gratitude to live on the Central Coast; a place where neighbors band together to help each other, and where people make a difference in each others’ lives every day. As we celebrate the holidays, may you and your loved ones experience peace, joy and love.
